District Nurse

Job Description

Education & Experience

  • Experience in school nursing or public health nursing preferred
  • Ability to work independently and effectively with students

Certificates, Licenses & Requirements

  • Current Registered Nurse (RN) license permitting practice in the State of Arizona – required
  • Current IVP Fingerprint Clearance Card – required
  • CPR and First Aid Instructor Certification – required
  • Hearing & Vision Screening Certification – required
  • Application for CLASSIFIED EMPLOYMENT 

Custodian

Position Summary
Maintains school classrooms, offices, cafeteria, restrooms, interior common spaces, library, and gymnasium in a clean and orderly condition.
This is a 12-month position.

Physical Demands

While performing this job, the employee is regularly required to:

  • Walk, reach, and handle materials with hands and arms
  • Frequently stand, climb or balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, talk, and hear
  • Occasionally sit

Lifting requirements include:

  • Regularly lift/move up to 10 lbs
  • Frequently lift/move up to 25 lbs
  • Occasionally lift/move up to 50 lbs

Required Certification

Substitute Teachers

Requirements

  • Valid Arizona Teaching Certificate OR valid Arizona Substitute Teaching Certificate
  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university – required
  • Inquire with HR for steps to obtain an Emergency Certificate
